Birmingham Green Party are planning a week of actions to support the Save Baverstock School campaign.
The government have recommended the school for closure, but the local community are fighting to keep it open. There are serious concerns about where the school's pupils will go in September if the school is closed.
We believe the decision can be reversed but will it require a big show of public support.
While the school have written to parents, in the wider community there is a lack of information, so we will be delivering a letter to every household in the area updating them on what is happening and how they can respond by writing to Christine Quinn, the Regional Schools Commissioner.
The Save Baverstock School campaign are also organising a peaceful demonstration outside the school at 7pm on Monday 30th January, and we will be attending in solidarity with the community.
With the public consolation finishing on 7th Feb, this is the last chance for Baverstock School.
