There’s a wave of optimism right now as the Green surge goes from strength to strength; but if you want to vote Green in May, you will need to be registered.
Research shows that thousands of people have dropped off the register in Birmingham’s constituencies; while a student hall of residence where 800 students live has only 25 people registered.
Green Party parliamentary campaigner, Clare Thomas, said: “Your vote can make the difference. I’d urge people to register as soon as possible to help us turn the surge into Green councillors and MPs.”
Visit gov.uk/register-to-vote for information on how to register today. It only takes a few minutes but could help decide the future of politics in Birmingham.
